Drop Off Your Donation
Donate food the easy way, at Calgary Food Bank donation bins located at the front of most major grocery stores. These bins are for non-perishable donations only.
Drop off your donations at door 7 at our warehouse located at 5000 11 St SE. Operating hours are:
Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am – 7:30 pm
Friday and Saturday: 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
Are You Donating From Food Industry?
Our vital food industry partnerships provide us with 91% of our food donations. In addition to distributing these donations directly to our clients, they also go towards providing over 50 partner organizations with food.
Donating Your Harvest
Plant an Extra row
When planting your own garden, consider planting an extra row for Calgary Food Bank clients. Whether it’s a bag, a bunch or a bushel, it all adds up to help provide our neighbours with fresh produce.

Other Items We Accept
Hygiene Items
Hygiene products can be expensive for someone who is already dealing with food insecurity. Donations of products like shampoo, conditioner, hand soap and deodorant are provided to those who need them.
Pet Food
We distribute food for all members of the family. Donations of unopened pet food or treats help us ensure that the four-legged ones don’t get left out.
Birthday Party Kits
Birthday party kits are available to clients aged one to twelve through our birthday room. We accept donations of bags, cards, party supplies, books, art and school supplies, games, toys, cakes mixes, icing, balloons and candles in order to ensure every child gets to feel special on their big day.
Baby items
Baby hampers are available to help support newborns and infants up to twelve months old. We are always in need of baby cereal, infant formula, and diapers (with the most needed sizes being four, five and six). We accept unopened and opened packages of diapers.
