Research has demonstrated that the more severe a household’s food insecurity is, the greater their odds are of experiencing adverse mental health outcomes.
With the increased cost of living and inflation not seen in 40 years, our social safety nets are fraying. Using client feedback and data, we continue to take the necessary steps to help the community.
On average, our hampers contain 16% whole grains, 26% protein, 28% fruits and vegetables, and 30% is categorized as ‘other’.
