This year’s holiday celebration gave those of us that sit behind a desk, a chance to roll up our sleeves and have face to face interactions with the folks who access our services.

The Drop-In Centre provides emergency shelter to those experiencing houselessness in our Calgary community.
Terry Deets is the unofficial mayor of the Calgary Food Bank and our longest-serving volunteer. He has been with us for over 40 years.
Since 2017, the Calgary Food Bank has collaborated with the Breakfast Club of Canada to offer children an inclusive environment where they can enjoy a nutritious breakfast at school.
