Kindness and generosity abound in Calgary. We are known for it. So we wanted to share this heart-warming letter and donation we recently received.
Every year, hundreds of volunteers grow vegetables for the Calgary Food Bank. Generous donations from volunteer and community gardens bring in more than 50,000 pounds annually.
We are often inspired by the generosity of youth in our community and we recently had the opportunity to meet Leadership student Brandon, who was working on his project: One Good Deed.
