Make The Season Kind

This year marks the 38th edition of the CBC Make the Season Kind campaign supporting the Calgary Food Bank.

Join us for special broadcasts, coffee sales, bake sales, the online auction, the CP Holiday Train featuring special guest passenger Melissa From, the Knox Choral Festival, and more! This campaign runs from December 1st through the 22nd raising vital food and funds to support the programs at the Food Bank of Calgary.  There are countless ways to contribute and be involved in this amazing effort that last year raised $1,403,499.65!

FRATELLO COFFEE AND CBC MUGS

Fratello has once again roasted a special batch to go with this year’s CBC limited edition mug. Bring a $20 donation to the Calgary Food Bank for each mug/coffee you purchase:

HOLIDAY TRAIN

A family favourite returns! The CPKC (Canadian Pacific and Kansas City Southern) Holiday Train stops in Calgary on December 9th at Anderson Station at 5:45 pm. Bring a donation of either cash or non-perishable food items for the Calgary Food Bank.

Be part of the exciting Blitz Day on December 14th. Tune in or come on down to join CBC Radio One live in their lobby for music, stories that inspire and Christmas cheer (105-1000 Veteran’s Place NW). Make sure your donation counts! Cash and non-perishable food items welcome.

THEATRE CALGARY

Since 1997, Theatre Calgary has collected donations after every performance of A Christmas Carol from audience members through Toonies for Turkeys. Over the past 26 years, those audiences have donated more than $2.3 million, with 100% of that money going directly to the Calgary Food Bank.

HEEBEE JEEBEE'S CONCERT

The Heebee-jeebees are celebrating three decades of festive fun. This non-traditional Christmas tradition takes place December 22nd and December 23rd at 7:30 PM at the Taylor Centre for the Performing Arts (18 Mt Royal Cir SW). Please bring a donation of non-perishable food items or cash to donate to the Calgary Food Bank.
