Make The Season Kind
For 40 years, CBC Calgary and the Calgary community have come together to support the Calgary Food Bank and spread kindness throughout our city. This milestone celebrates the generosity, compassion, and unstoppable spirit that make Calgary such a special place for all of us.
Our goal this year is to raise $1.5 million. From December 5 to 18, join us through special broadcasts, exciting events, and limited-edition coffee and mug sales, as we once again make the season kind and support our community.

Online Auction
Participate in our online auction with all proceeds going to the Calgary Food Bank.
Blitz Day
December 18 from 6 am to 6 pm
Location: The Ampersand lobby, 112 4 Ave SW
Join us for a day of special programming and live music as we aim to raise $1.5 million for Calgarians in need of emergency food support.

Food Drives & Drop Offs
PARKDALE HOLIDAY FOOD DRIVE
Location: Parkdale Nifty Fifties Seniors Association (3512 – 5th Ave NW)
Donation Hours: Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm from December 5th – 19th
Make a donation to Make the Season Kind: In support of the Calgary Food Bank with non-perishable food items at Parkdale Community Association with the Parkdale Nifty Fifties Seniors Association.

CALGARY FOOD BANK DONATION DROP-OFF
Drop your food donations off at the Calgary Food Bank warehouse at 5000 11 Street SE, Loading Dock Door 7.
Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am – 7:30 pm
Friday and Saturday: 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
Drop your monetary donations off at the Calgary Food Bank Annex, down the street from the warehouse at 5020 12A Street SE.
Monday to Thursday: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
Friday: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
*Both Calgary Food Bank locations are closed at noon on Christmas Eve.
