Stomp out hunger this summer

The Put the Boots to Hunger™ campaign raises important food and funds for the Calgary Food Bank through the Stampede season, at a time when it is typically slower for donations. This campaign is comprised of two initiatives to help feed Calgarians in need, community events and the donation of the of Burnet Duckworth & Palmer LLP’s (BD&P) chuckwagon tarp.

During the 10 days of Stampede, businesses, community organizations and individuals invite the Calgary Food Bank to be part of their event to collect food and funds. Are you holding a Stampede event and want to invite the Food Bank? Please complete our booking request form.  For more information on please contact Caitlin Reid at 403.253.2059 ext. 239 or by email.

Pivotal to the success of the Put the Boots to Hunger Campaign is the donation of BD&P’s chuckwagon tarp to the Calgary Food Bank, where each night a different business sponsors the BD&P Put the Boots to Hunger™ chuckwagon tarp.

Over the last decade, thanks to the generous support of the Calgary Community, the campaign has raised more than $4.1 million dollars in food and funds to help feed families and individuals in crisis over the summer months.
