STUFF A BUS
Help us stuff a bus on November 16! A standard 40-foot bus can carry about 70 passengers, but how much food can it carry? Calgary Transit, Calgary Co-op and XL 103 FM are joining forces once again to collect donations for the Calgary Food Bank.
Help Calgarians facing food insecurity
Stuff a bus to feed YYC
Calgary Co-op, Calgary Transit and Stingray Radio Stations are once again joining forces for the 27th annual Stuff A Bus event. This year, Calgary Transit will have a bus parked outside of all 20 Calgary Co-op locations across the city. Volunteers from both Calgary Transit and the Calgary Food Bank will collect monetary and food donations in an effort to fill 40 feet of each bus with healthy, nutritious food.
On Saturday November 16, XL 103 will be live on location at the Crowfoot Co-op and AMP Radio will be live on location at the Auburn Bay Co-op to celebrate Stuff A Bus.
At the end of the day, dozens of Girl Guides and their friends help to unload the thousands of pounds of food to be transported to the Calgary Food Bank and distributed to Calgarians experiencing food insecurity.
