Stuff A Bus To Feed Calgary

This year we are celebrating 33 years of Stuff A Bus on November 22, 2025!  Every year, more than 250 volunteers from the City of Calgary Transit, Annie Banister Girl Guides, and the Calgary Food Bank donate their time to help this event come to life.

During Stuff a Bus, Calgary Co-op locations around the city host transit buses that generous Calgarians fill with non-perishable food donations. These buses are then driven to the City of Calgary bus depot, where they are unpacked and loaded up to make their way to the Calgary Food Bank for distribution clients.

In the weeks leading up to the event, there is the opportunity to purchase prepackaged food donation bags or make a monetary donation at Calgary Co-op locations.

The Calgary Food Bank does not receive ongoing government funding. Instead, we are by community, for community, relying on the generous support of people like you.

How To Donate At Calgary Co-op

Donate Funds

Make a donation at the till at any Calgary Co-op location between now and November 22nd.

Donate Food

Purchase your own non-perishable food donations or pickup a food hamper prepack for $10. You can bring this donation on to the bus on November 22nd, or if you would like to donate in advance there are donation bins by the exit that will go to the Calgary Food Bank.

Each food hamper prepack includes the following:

Spaghetti Noodles
Two Canned Tomato Sauces
Canned Veggies
Canned soup
Ramen
