The Calgary Food Bank is proud to announce the opening of a new branch location in downtown Calgary, further strengthening our ability to provide accessible, community-based food support. Located in the Neoma building at 706 7 Ave S.W, this expansion marks a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to ensuring that no Calgarian faces food insecurity alone.

The downtown branch will operate in a facility managed by the non-profit, Home Space that houses clients for Inn from the Cold. Collaborating with these organizations ensures a coordinated, community-driven approach to food security. Scheduled to be fully operational by summer, the new location is designed to remove barriers to access by bringing essential food resources closer to those who need them most. This initiative is in direct alignment with the Calgary Food Bank’s five-year Strategic Plan, to make food accessible to everyone in our city.
