Wish List An Emergency Hamper from the Calgary Inter-Faith Food Bank provides Calgarians in crisis with a nutritionally balanced hamper with approximately one week of food. In every Emergency Fod Hamper, we guarantee some items to ensure minimum food value requirements are met. When we do not have enough donations of guaranteed items we must purchase them. The average cost of an Emergency Hamper for a family of four is $115. Our Most Needed Items:
For every $1 donated, we can distribute $4 worth of food Perishable items can be donated directly to the Calgary Inter-Faith Food Bank main location at 5000 11 Street SE. We have cooler and frozen storage available to prevent product spoilage. |
For every $1 donated, the Food Bank can distribute $4 of food. |
 Most Needed Food Donations: The following are the staples of our hampers. When we do not have enough of these items donated we purchase these items. The average cost of an Emergency Food Hamper (one week’s food) for a family of 4 is $120. |
