Far from being a passing fad, Twitter is the world’s fastest growing Internet phenomenon, attracting users from Oprah Winfrey to Barack Obama to, well, us! Read our Twitter updates. Even better, sign up for your own free Twitter account and add us as a contact! Go to http://www.twitter.com, click the big “Get Started — Join!” button, and follow the instructions on the screen. Once you have an account, use the “find people” button to look for interesting individuals and organizations (to find us, search for CalgaryFoodBank).  Most Needed Food Donations: The following are the staples of our hampers. When we do not have enough of these items donated we purchase these items. The average cost of an Emergency Food Hamper (one week’s food) for a family of 4 is $120. |
