CANstruction® Calgary 2014
Theme: Transportation - Getting From Here to There
Build Day: Thursday, March 13
Viewing Days: March 14 - 20
Canstruction® Calgary is a competition using canned food and other non-perishable items as building blocks. Multi-disciplinary teams of engineers, designers, architects and builders create structures, which are judged, exhibited to the public and then de-canstructed, with all food going to the Calgary Food Bank.
Canstruction® Calgary is the local chapter of Canstruction, a global anti-hunger project, founded by the Society for Design Administration, an affiliate organization of the American Insitute of Architects. Founded more than 10 years ago, the event is now held in more than 100 cities around the world.
