Big things are possible when we work together
On Saturday November 2nd, Calgary Transit buses will be parked outside Calgary CO-OP stores, not for passengers but for donations to the annual Stuff-a-bus event.
“…not everyone has enough…we have to make sure we are there to catch people when they fall; when there is an emergency, that there is community support, and the Calgary Food Bank is a good example of that.”
Food and funds received at this year’s Stuff-a-Bus event will go a long way to helping our neighbours. For some, who may be living paycheque-to-paycheque, the additional cost of living during the winter months may cause them to experience a financial emergency. Others may be still recovering from the unexpected strain of rebuilding after this summer’s devastating floods. The generosity of Calgarians continues to amaze and bring joy to those in need during the holiday season.
