About Us

The Calgary Food Bank is an emergency food distribution hub. We gather and distribute quality emergency food to individual Calgarians and the agencies that serve them.

We are able to provide food and resources every day because of the dedication and compassion of our volunteers. Every day there are between 80 and 100 volunteers at the Food Bank. Last year, almost 4,400 individual and group volunteers gave an incredible 112,300 hours of their time to help us feed hungry Calgarians.
