About Us

The Calgary Food Bank is an emergency food distribution hub. We gather and distribute quality emergency food to individual Calgarians and the agencies and programs that serve them. 

We are able to provide food and resources every day because of the dedication and compassion of our volunteers.

• every day, over 100 people volunteer at the Food Bank
• last year, almost 10,063 individual and group volunteers supported the Food Bank
• this added up to an incredible 117,324 hours of time to help us feed hungry Calgarians

To meet the diverse needs of Calgarians, the Food Bank distributes food via several programs:
