Reflecting on 2015: Food Bank Highlights

These youngins threw a food drive in their neighourhood and raised 56 pounds of food all on their own!
For many Calgarians, 2015 was a tough year. We went through a lot together in the last 365 days, some good and some bad, but we’re grateful for all the amazing people we’ve met through our neighbourhood events or volunteering, and the clients who have touched our lives.

The Calgary Food Bank relies solely on the support of the community, and this year we couldn’t have felt more supported. Helping others is a reward unto itself, but to have this amazing city rally around us in times of need is awe-inspiring.

Thank you, Calgary, for helping us do what we do: feed hungry Calgarians.
