What an amazing day to start off Stampede 2015. At a high of 31 degrees and not a cloud to be seen, it was the perfect day to welcome the world to the wonder of Stampede!
As the first big stampede breakfast of the season, the CBC Co-op Stampede Breakfast says a lot about what we can expect for the rest of the 2015 Stampede.
With one of the biggest turnouts ever, we expect this Stampede to be nothing short than a roaring good time.

We stopped by with our booth and donation boxes and were amazed at the generosity from our community, as well visiting communities stopping by for free flapjacks.
Everyone’s favourite kick-off to the Calgary Stampede went off without a hitch, and we had a great time hosting our booth on the sidelines. We had a great time thanks to Triovest, one of our partners, and one of our favourite local celebrities, Kim Hayden from Kim’s Kitchen.

CHUCKWAGONS WITH CEL ELECTRIC
CEL enjoyed food and drink at the sponsor’s tent before making their way to their seats in the infeild to watch their tarp fly to victory.
Even though our driver, Gary Gorst, met misfortune this morning when he found damage to his axel, he still managed to place first in his heat (or racing group). He managed to outride and outmaneuvre three other drivers with a loaner wagon. Hats off to the talented Gary Gorst who left his competetion in the dust.
CEL said their favourite part was meeting the horses at the barns.
